If you ever wondered what it would be like to stand right behind the starting line of National race, here it is.  500 two strokes were extremely loud and powerful.  I got nailed in the upper thigh from Steve Stackable's factory Kawasaki roost.  I remember I had a bruise on my leg for about 10 days afterward.

The "Popcorn Popper" section of the Agency track.  Staten is dropping down and into the climb to the starting straight.  Burgett is already popcorn.  This is the same section Magoo hit the AMA official the previous year.
