No press pass for me this time and as I feared there were not many places you could actually get close to the track. Many times I took shots between peoples heads as they lined the track. I was constantly moving around looking for interesting views.

I have watched most of the Nationals this year on the SPEED Network. Andrew Short has done well but never struck me as one of the elite riders. He changed my thinking in watching him run away with the first moto and riding on the ragged edge.
