Opening ceremonies for the first National Motocross in Texas in almost 20 years brought out Steve Wise on a vintage Honda for a parade lap.

There was a Vintage National the next day and it was good to see so many bikes I knew well including the KX250 like I raced back in the '70's.

It was really good to see one out on the track during the parade lap.

I thought for sure Townley was either going down hard or had torn his leg up. But he kept it pegged and the next instant was full speed ahead.
